Michael (according to Brad)

Michael was born and raised in the Bay Area, about 40 miles south of San Francisco in Sunnyvale, CA. His mother, brother, sister, four nieces, one nephew and most important his 97 year old grandfather all live in the Bay Area. From the very beginning their support for our decision to have children has been incredible. Everyone is excited for another happy face around the dinner table at any given holiday supper, family birthday or Sunday supper. On any given weekend, Michael can be found at Home Depot figuring out what he’d like to improve around the house next. He works for a major Bay Area company and manages their Meetings and Events Group. He loves his job, his company and the work that he does.

When not working, Michael is also very involved in charity work. He’s served on various non-profit boards over the years and currently works with a group that supports youth in creating a safe environment in schools.

It’s clear to me that Michael was meant to be a dad when I see how children react to him. From running around a park to quietly sitting and reading a book, Michael has a way of connecting with children that few people have. At parties, while most parents are interacting with each other, Michael can be found on the floor with the children building a skyscraper out of blocks or giving pony rides on his back.
