Our Family and Friends

A close knit and loving network of friends and family await our son or daughter and all  have promised to lend a supportive hand in creating an amazing family network in which he or she can thrive.

Family play’s in important role in our lives.  We have always enjoyed the fact that both of our families live close by and are able to come spend the weekend or simply pop by and enjoy a hearty Sunday supper.  Our parents, grandparents, brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews have all built roots throughout California and are all within an hour’s drive or a quick flight.  Alysse and Matthew, Brad’s niece and nephew are always looking for a good excuse to come hang out in San Francisco and explore the city’s local scene.  We’re also lucky to have grandparents close by too.  Dessie (95 years), Brad’s grandmother and David (97 years), Michael’s grandfather are both a quick drive away and we’re lucky to see them often.

We are incredibly blessed with an amazing group of friends.  Weekends always seem to be filled with plans around town and usually include a trip to the local farmer’s market or dining in one of our little neighborhood restaurants.  Annika (5 years) and Axel (3 years) often plan the Saturday farmer’s market outing where the first stop is always the honey stick vendor followed up by face painting.  Several of our friends have either babies or toddlers which will guarantee a lot of group outings, sleepovers and trips to amusement parks are in our future.
